Cover art for PLAGUE ZONE

That's what the announcer would be saying if this was a football game. I have yet to see cover art from my American publisher, who has the book, but here's some nice, spooky, eye-grabbing cover art from my German publisher, who doesn't have the book. Go figure. Fortunately, the cover makes sense with the storyline. Piper Verlag did ask me what the book is about and clearly they're not messing around. They've got INFEKT slated for February 2010. It's ready to fly. Except for the pages that, you know, go between the covers. We'll translate that stuff soon. :)
Labels: Infekt, Piper Verlag, PLAGUE ZONE
It's a nice cover, really. But it doesn't go with the prior established scheme for the series here. So, still curious.
I'm still holding out for a blue cover on the American version, though, because that would look awesome paired with the white and red ones. ;)
Also, intrigued to see what your Spanish publisher comes up with, as I've really liked the design work on those books.

You're right that INFEKT doesn't fit the visual theme established with NANO and PLASMA, which I find odd. Nevertheless, it's a great cover, and I have to assume those crazy Germans know what they're doing in their crazy German market. :)
