What I Did This Summer, Part Three

Recently, Diana and I also managed to carve a few hours out of our relentless lives to really relax. Here you have it all. Pool. Raft. Daiquiri. Douglas Preston's The Codex. Garbage bag and duct tape.

Hmm. What's wrong with this picture?

Alright, so the next question has to be thus:

What the heck did you do to yourself to have to tape your leg up in a garbage bag to get in the pool? Was there an incident while you were hiking?

Or were you like me, who messed up a knee because I collided with another driver? Given your driving stories... ;)

Jeez, Jeff!

Didn't you recently break your leg skiing?

Is no season safe for you?!?

Joe, it's *me*, man! There is no safe season in Carlson Land! :)

Kat, the truth shall be told as soon as I get organized with another chip full of jpgs... Hee hee.

Dude, you crack us up!

I'm not sure how you plan on writing your next books when you seem to be occupying your time with luxuries such as relaxing, drinking, reading and mastering the art of duct taping.

The insane life of an author. Hope you're above 10,000 feet.
